A police chief treated the Uyghurs who gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in Istanbul yesterday morning, and called out with expressions such as "We will sweep you soon" and "We will detain you and deport you".
ISTANBUL POLICE DIRECTORATE MADE A STATEMENT
From the Istanbul Police, which made a statement on the subject, "Some of the expressions used during the warnings to the group caused misunderstandings and went beyond the intent. A warning was given not to hurt our brothers, but to remind us of the ban on demonstrations," it was stated.
While the Chinese persecution in East Turkestan continues unabated, the Uyghur Turks in Turkey are engaged in various activities in the hope of preventing the persecution.
As part of these activities, the Uyghurs, who periodically meet in front of the Consulate General of China in Istanbul and react to the Chinese persecution, demand the release of their relatives in concentration camps.
“WE WILL SWEEP YOU SHORTLY AFTER”
The front of the Consulate General of China in Istanbul witnessed another protest yesterday. But this time, the ugly attitude of a police chief towards the Uyghur Turks was on the agenda rather than a protest.
The use of expressions such as “We will sweep you soon” and “We will detain you and deport you” by the police chief, who treated the Uighurs ugly, was met with astonishment.
The attitude of the police chief in question was met with a great reaction from the citizens.
