Increase rates of civil servants, retired civil servants published in Official Gazette

The decision of the Public Servants Arbitration Board regarding the collective agreement, which includes the increase in civil servant salaries and civil servant pensions in 2024-2025, has been published in the Official Gazette.

According to the Decision of the Public Servants Arbitration Board, in the collective bargaining negotiations between 1-22 August 2023, the issues related to the disagreement objected by the President of the Public Servants Unions Committee, due to the failure to sign a collective agreement between the parties on the financial and social rights of the public servants in general, were rejected by a majority of votes.
 
Articles 4,5,6 and 7 of the collective agreement were accepted by majority of votes and all other articles were accepted unanimously.
 
According to the Board decision, civil servant salaries and pensions of civil servants will be increased by 15 percent in the first 6 months of 2024, 10 percent in the second 6 months, 6 percent in the first 6 months of 2025, and 5 percent in the second 6 months.
 
Collective agreement communiqué on the financial and social rights of service branches
 
The communiqué of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security on the 7th Term Collective Agreement Covering the Years 2024 and 2025 on Financial and Social Rights for Service Branches was also published in the Official Gazette.
 
In the communique, besides the salary increases, the general public servants and the achievements of the service branches were included in detail.
 
Accordingly, the collective agreement, which includes the financial and social rights of public officials employed in the cadres and positions of public institutions and organizations within the scope of the relevant service branch, will also be implemented between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025.
 
The Presidency of Administrative Affairs, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Strategy and Budget Presidency will be responsible and authorized to eliminate the hesitations that may arise regarding the implementation of the contract and to direct the implementation.
