Discovered by Johan August Arfwedson in 1817, lithium was considered important in the past due to its use in medicine and especially in neurology. However, the need for the use of lithium in high technologies that have developed recently has caused lithium to be given more importance in these areas. This increased the value and importance of lithium. Lithium; It is used in areas such as mobile devices, laptops, tablets, phones, station installations, GPS systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, precision guided weapons, hypersonic weapons, nuclear weapons, satellites, stealth aircraft, electric vehicles, batteries and computer chips. With the development and widespread use of technology, the value, importance and consumption of lithium is expected to increase even more.
