During the visit made by the Jamaat-i Islami delegation, information on various studies of ESAM and information about Milli Görüş by Recai Kutan was conveyed. Recai Kutan, who emphasized the role of ESAM in the D-8 agreement, said, "A significant part of the preparatory work for D-8 was carried out at ESAM under the presidency of the late Necmettin Erbakan Hodja."
The 6-member delegation, headed by Sadatullah Husaini of the Jamaat-i Islami of India, visited Recai Kutan, President of the Center for Economic and Social Research (ESAM). During the visit, stated that they intended to improve relations between Turkey and the Muslims of India Jamaat-i Islami delegation, stressed that their positions constitute a model for the research centers will be established in India.
The Jamaat-i Islamic delegation stated that they entered into a political movement and that the name of the party they founded was the Refah Party, "We inspired by Necmettin Erbakan's legacy while establishing our party and thus we established our party.
