While the dose of systematic persecution applied by India in Kashmir is increasing day by day, Muslims living there face insults and bullying against their beliefs as well as attacks on their lives, property and chastity.
While Sheikh Abdulmetin, Secretary General of the "All Parties Hurriyat Conference", noted that the economic boycott of India is of great importance, Lawyer Nasir Qadri said that Indian oppressors could be tried in Turkey.
“WE CAN'T PROTECT OUR ISLAMIC LIVES”
Sheikh Abdulmetin, Secretary General of the "All Parties Hurriyat Conference", which works to end the persecution in Kashmir, said that there was a great persecution in Kashmir.
"India doesn't want the Kashmiris, it wants the land there. That's why they want to change the demographic there. They also act against our Islamic values. We have a mosque that has not been prayed for months. We cannot protect our Islamic life. Kashmir is like a big prison right now," he said.
Addressing Turkey and other Islamic countries on behalf of ending the human tragedy in Kashmir, Sheikh Abdulmetin noted that the economic boycott of India is of great importance.
“INDIA TAKES THE EXAMPLE OF ISRAEL IN KASHMIR”
Kashmiri Lawyer Nasir Qadri, "Kashmir has been under occupation for a long time. Kashmir and Palestine issue are similar issues. India is committing war crimes and massacres in Kashmir. We have filed applications for the prosecution of the Indian authorities. Studies can be carried out in this field in Turkey. A court can be set up here and Indian officials can be tried. India takes Israel as an example in Kashmir. Schools and other institutions are closing. India wants to keep its war crimes secret. There is a silence like a cemetery in Kashmir," he said.
“WE HAVE PEOPLE WHO SPENT HALF OF THEIR LIVES IN PRISON”
Sheikh Abdulmetin, Secretary General of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, which is working to end the persecution in Kashmir, stated that they are working intensively for Kashmir.
Noting that they are mostly active in the political field, Abdülmetin said, "There are people among us who have spent half their lives in prison. India is persecuting our people with its laws. Many of our leaders are currently in prison. We work for the freedom of Kashmir in the political arena, both in Pakistan and around the world. We are in contact with the Kashmiri diaspora. We attend UN meetings and talk about India's atrocities. We attend conferences for Kashmir."
“ALL MUSLIMS SHOULD BE PART OF THIS STRUGGLE”
Sheikh Abdulmetin, Secretary General of the AllParties Hurriyat Conference, said that there was great persecution in Kashmir. Noting that the said struggle is not only between Kashmiris and India, Abdulmetin said that all Muslims should be a part of this struggle.
Sheikh Abdulmetin, regarding the subject, "So far, two reports have been issued from the UN about Kashmir. India gives medals to its soldiers who persecute in Kashmir. There are more than 900,000 Indian soldiers in Kashmir. Courts protect the oppressors. We want a referendum and we are working for it. India does not accept this. We work for freedom. Our aim is freedom," he added.
“ECONOMIC BOYCOTS ARE VERY IMPORTANT”

“INDIAN AUTHORITIES CAN BE JUDGED BY A COURT IN TURKEY”
Kashmiri Lawyer Nasir Qadri also made important statements to the Milli Gazete. Noting that the Kashmir case has both a political and a legal aspect, Qadri said, "Kashmir has been under occupation for a long time. Kashmir and Palestine issue are similar issues. International courts have to take action on Kashmir. India is committing war crimes and massacres in Kashmir. We have made applications for the prosecution of the Indian authorities. Studies can be carried out in this field in Turkey. A court can be set up here and Indian officials can be tried. We can also play a role in this."
