The words of the occupying state India's minister, who defended the atrocities against the people of Kashmir during his visit, "We are implementing the bans in Kashmir to protect you," were met with reaction. Tens of thousands of Muslims are suffering in the prisons of Jammu and Kashmir, which is controlled by Indian occupation troops.

Muslims are struggling to survive under heavy persecution in Jammu Kashmir, the Islamic homeland under Indian occupation. Continuing its attempts to subjugate the Muslim people of Jammu and Kashmir during the 74 years of unlawful occupation, the Indian government continues to increase its racist practices.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of India, Amit Shah, who made an official visit to Jammu Kashmir under the name of "friendship" the other day, made statements almost like a confession.

Amit Shah, who defends the human rights violations against the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who are deprived of many human rights such as security, education, health, electricity and internet, and especially freedom, said, "We are making the bans we apply here to protect Kashmiris."

Amit Shah, the Minister of Interior of the Indian government under the Prime Minister of Narendra Modi, who brutally implemented a management approach based on Indian racism, during his visit to Jammu Kashmir, "I bring you the greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We want closer friendly relations between India and Jammu and Kashmir. We think we need to improve our cooperation. We ask you to develop democracy here and not to let the peace in Kashmir be disturbed," he said.

Human rights defenders in Kashmir interpreted Amit Shah's words as disingenuous when compared to the Indian-originated atrocities in the region.

MUSLIMS SUFFER IN KASHMIR

Amit Shah's words "We are making the bans we have implemented in Jammu and Kashmir to protect the people here" became a separate topic of discussion.

In Jammu Kashmir, which has a population of 12.5 million and 90% of its population is Muslim, positive discrimination is made against Hindus brought from India, while Muslims who do not accept India's occupation are subjected to severe persecution. Many Kashmiri Muslims lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of the Indian security forces, which carried out unlawful attacks on the living areas of Muslims under the name of the 'Public Security Law'.

There are tens of thousands of Muslims thrown into prisons and subjected to torture. The incident that took place in the last month of Ramadan, in which a resistance leader was martyred in prison, revealed the cruelty of India in its clearest form. In the Islamic homeland of Jammu Kashmir, the resistance leader Ashraf Sehrai, who devoted his 78-year life to the struggle for independence of Muslims, passed away. It turned out that Sehrai, who could not be heard from after he was detained by Indian soldiers, was martyred by the occupation forces.
