While the government had rejected trade with Israel some time ago, it could not resist the reactions and decided to restrict trade with Israel.
Regarding the issue, the Saadet-Gelecek parties parliamentary group submitted a Parliamentary Research proposal to the parliament to "investigate the effectiveness of the decision on restricting exports with Israel and the negative effects of the trade carried out so far on the people of Gaza."
The proposed proposal was rejected by the AK Party and MHP.
