There is no calm day in the Middle East. Zionist Israel carried out an air attack on the consulate building in Iran's embassy campus in Damascus on April 1.

Iran retaliated in response to the attack. More than 200 drones and dozens of missiles were launched by Iran against Israel.

Other countries also supported the operation called "Operation Real Promise".

Stating that Israel is working to set fire to the region, Saadet Party Istanbul Deputy and Deputy Chairman Mustafa Kaya underlined that Iran's attack on the Damascus embassy to spread the war should be condemned.

"This attack was a new example of Israel's lawlessness and recklessness. It has again demonstrated the fact that Zionism is a threat to all humanity. Stuck in Gaza, Israel attacked the Iranian Embassy there in order to spread the fire to the region and to regain the support it had begun to lose even in the West. It was unthinkable for Iran to ignore this attack. It couldn't be expected to act as if nothing had happened. Iran's reaction is its right to self-defense. Iran's reaction is understandable. At this point, no one in international law can put forward an argument against Iran's reaction," Kaya said.

“ISRAEL AIMS TO CONTINUE THE SUPPORT GIVEN BY USA”

Kaya stated that Iran should protect its own law and called for Gaza not to fall into the background.

"Attention should be paid to the trap set by Israel. Israel, which presents the October 7 Al-Aqsa Flood operation as the beginning of the conflict, will after a while attempt to make Gaza completely forgotten by citing Iran as an excuse. In this regard, in the eyes of human conscience, the genocide our Palestinian brothers suffered in Gaza should not be overlooked. The real problem is the ongoing genocide in Gaza. This is the main point to focus on. Of course, Iran will not act as if nothing happened. Israel also aims to draw the USA closer and continue its political support with direct military support. Despite everything, it must be said that Iran's right to respond is acceptable," Kaya added.

“NECESSARY INITIATIVES MUST BE TAKEN”

Stating that Turkey should also take steps after what happened, Kaya called for Turkey not to open any of its bases for use.

"Turkey should never allow the use of any base against Iran, whether it belongs to NATO or directly to the USA. Bases belonging to Western countries in Turkey, which threatens Iran, should never be used against Iran. Türkiye should not open its airspace to those who want to use it for this purpose. In this sense, Türkiye should engage in diplomatic efforts that will keep Gaza at the center of the matter. What Israel wants to do in the region is very clear. As Master Necip Fazıl said, 'they can set the world on fire to cook their eggs.' Necessary initiatives must be taken in Iran, never forgetting this fact," Kaya said.

“GENOCIDE IN GAZA SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE CENTER OF THE PROCESS”

Drawing attention to President Erdoğan's upcoming visit to Iraq, Kaya stated that this issue would be on the agenda there.

"Mr. President will go to Iraq soon. This issue will be brought up there as well. Communication channels should also be open with Saudi Arabia and Jordan. An active stance should be taken before the UN. Close contact should be maintained with countries that adopted an anti-Israeli stance after October 7. Türkiye must be active to prevent the fire from engulfing the region, which is Israel's ultimate goal, and bring the genocide in Gaza to the center of the process. At the same time, steps should be taken to prevent Israel from taking a new aggressive stance against Iran's right to self-defense," Kaya stated.
