The protests against unemployment and corruption in Basra almost jumped all over the southern part of the country. Demonstrators are calling the 'Revolution of the Hungries' a protest against violent conflicts and deaths. In the country, the crisis in the recent anti-government demonstrations is getting better and better.

The demonstrations that began in the oil city Basra in the country spread to the south of the country due to corruption, unemployment and inadequate service. Despite the fact that many security precautions have been taken against five cities, Iraqis are organizing great protests in the important cities of the countries such as Baghdad, Najaf, Karbala, Zukkar, Misan, Divaniye, Nasriye.

Sometimes more than 10 people died and about 300 people were injured in demonstrations where violent clashes between the police and the demonstrators were also on the scene. The causes of the events, the way of doing things and especially the support call made by the US State Department brought the Arab Spring to mind, while the demonstrators named the protests. Demonstrators stated that they would continue protesting the protests of 'Hungry Revolution' until the day when their demands would be met.

Sadr Movement leader Mukteda es-Sadr, who won elections in May in the country, said he supported the demonstrators. Sadr called on all politicians to stop their efforts to form a government until the separate demands were fulfilled. If most of the politicians in the country are following this call, the politics of the country, which is already struggling with the crises, will enter into a complete dilemma.

It was reported that 1 person lost their lives in the protests held today under the anti-government demonstrations that started 10 days ago in the south of Iraq. The Iraqi Ministry of Health announced today that one person lost his life in the ongoing demonstrations in Zikar, and learned that the protests also ran into the capital Baghdad. Today, the people of Basra, Zikar, Misan and Imare, Najaf, Kerbela, Hille and Divaniye, as well as people in Baghdad, came out of the streets. In Baghdad, where security significance is enhanced, demonstrators are gathered at Tahrir Square in the capital city. Demonstrators attempting to enter the Green Zone, where government buildings in the capital are located, said they wanted to destroy the government, not the reform. Demonstrators threw slogans "People want to overthrow the regime" and "Iran is out, Baghdad is free". It was stated that the security forces used pepper spray to disperse the demonstrators trying to enter the Green Zone, which resulted in 30 people being affected by the gas. On the other hand, in the demonstrations in Musenna city, Hadi al-Amiri learned to throw the slogans "out of Iran" by setting the Bedir Organization building under his presidency. The Baghdad Joint Operations Commander said there were no clashes between the security forces and protesters during the demonstration in the capital. Anti-government protests have begun in various parts of Iraq, after Iran has ceased to supply electricity to the country because of its accumulated debts. Many citizens who complain about the economic crisis in the country and increasing unemployment continue to give protest support.
