PKK terrorist organization head Abdullah Ocalan met with his lawyers after 8 years. The lawyers, who gave detailed information about a meeting in a hotel in Taksim, stated that the meeting took place on 2 May 2019.
It was revealed that the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, who was in İmralı F Type Closed Prison, was seen in contact with his lawyer on 2 May 2019. Asrın Law Firm said in a statement that detailed information about the interview was given. Öcalan, the PKK leader who could not meet with his lawyers after 27 July 2011, finally met his brother Mehmet Öcalan on 12 January 2019. The lawyers filed a press release at Taksim Hill Hotel and stated that they had a meeting with PKK leader Öcalan in İmralı F-Type High Security Prison on 02.05.2019 as their lawyers. Attorneys who stated that the Bursa Assize Court decided to appeal the objection they had made about two weeks before the meeting said that ’For all our clients in İmralı, the ban on interview with lawyers was abolished.
