Saadet Party İzmir Provincial Youth Branch Head Muhammet Kamil Kılıç said that the 2022 budget draft is not a budget that can reduce the losses of millions of citizens who have lost their jobs and income due to the deepening economic crisis.
Kılıç expressed his views on the 2022 Central Government Budget Bill presented to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey at the press conference held under the provincial presidency of his party.
Muhammet Kamil Kılıç, who stated that the budget bill had a deficit before it started to be implemented, "The budget deficit was projected as 278 billion 374 million liras. Minute one, goal one. Budget deficit means new public borrowings. It means handing over our sweat and labor to a handful of rentiers through taxes. In the 2022 budget; There are no workers, no teachers waiting for appointment, no health workers, no farmers, no tradesmen, no retirees, unemployed young people, no graduates who are in debt to Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK), no low-income citizens. So, what's in the 2022 budget draft? There are 240 billion liras allocated to interest expenses. This means that from January 2022, high tax increases and a new rain of hikes will begin," he said.
NEW BITTER RECIPES
Noting that when they examined the 2022 budget in detail, they encountered a sad picture, "A resource of 226 billion liras has been allocated for the education expenses of the country. Well, how much do you think the government allocates to interest expenses? Exactly 240 billion liras! We regret to see that 14 billion lira more of the budget allocated to the education expenses of 27 million students is allocated to interest expenses, and we ask: Is the interest lobby, which is the world's largest five, is larger than 27 million students? political power; Unfortunately, it transfers the resources it collects from the citizens through taxes, donations, penalties and fees to interest and waste. Preparing and submitting this budget, which is far from the vision of a great Turkey again, and which does not even come close to the target of a livable Turkey, is nothing but giving new bitter prescriptions to our people," he added.
