Mesut Acar, who spent 2 million dollars and converted the unused building into a school, started a legal fight for his school, where he was unlawfully evicted.

Mesut Acar, who won 6 lawsuits, including the Supreme Court decision, but still could not get any results, made a statement to our newspaper.

Stating that he suffered 50 million commercial losses despite being evicted from the school, Acar said, "Do Yalova Governor's Office and Yalova Municipality have the right to disobey the decisions of the courts of the Republic of Turkey? Don't court decisions apply to everyone?"

Yalova is witnessing a rare struggle for rights. Educator Mesut Acar, who leased the idle cold storage of the Yalova Central Village Service Association 7 years ago with a tender, wanted to turn the unused building into a school.

Mesut Acar, who spent about 2 million dollars after the leasing process, which was carried out in accordance with the procedures within the permission of the Yalova Governorship and Yalova Municipality, converted the unused building into a school.

However, the school was not given a license by the Yalova Municipality for various excuses.

Mesut Acar, who started to seek his rights through law, filed 6 lawsuits in 7 years and was found right in all of them.

The Yalova Governorship and Yalova Municipality did not comply with the decisions of the courts during the case that went up to the Supreme Court.

Speaking to our newspaper about the school, which is planned to be turned into a wedding hall by the municipality, Acar said that the authorities should take action against state institutions that do not comply with the court decisions.

“I THINK I HAVE BEEN DEFRAUDED”

Educator Mesut Acar, speaking to our newspaper, stated that his commercial loss exceeded 50 million TL.

"I cannot use the school building that I had the school building projected by the Turkish Earthquake Committee and approved by ITU. I was unlawfully evicted from the school building. I also won the case and his appeal that the eviction was unlawful. Then I won another case regarding my continued tenancy. The matter went to the magistrate's court, and I won that too. The last Supreme Court process started and I won that too. I also won the lawsuits I filed against Yalova Municipality. The school building has not been licensed, but there is a desire to make a wedding solo next to it. After all that has happened, I think I have been defrauded and I call on the state authorities to take action against the lawlessness here," he said.

“I PROVED I WAS RIGHT THROUGH 6 CASES”

Mesut Acar, pointing out the cases he won, "Does Yalova Governor's Office and Yalova Municipality have the right to disobey the decisions of the Turkish courts? Don't court decisions apply to everyone? We set out to build a school. Is a school more important for Yalova or a wedding hall? Needed right here. I expect to be compensated for the injustices I have suffered and my loss of business. I will continue to do my best against all the unlawful actions to not get a license for the school. I have all the documents and I have proven that I was right with 6 cases I won. Only I, as the tenant, did not suffer. As the lessor, our state will also suffer from this. Who is profiting here?" he asked.
