Announcing that Naftali Bennett would come to Turkey in May, Çavuşoğlu had resorted to wordplay to make "normalization" seem innocent with Tel Aviv.

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu tried to make the rapprochement between Turkey and the Israeli regime seem innocent. Çavuşoğlu, who defended that Palestine wanted Turkey and Israel to get closer by playing word games, made scandalous words. While explaining that “Palestine very much wants normalization of our relations with Israel,” Çavuşoğlu ignored the anti-normalization stance of HAMAS, the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people. As it will be remembered, HAMAS reacted to the "normalization" in relations between Turkey and the Israeli regime and stated that the situation in question was unacceptable.

CLEAR EXPLANATION FROM ISMAIL HANIYEH: “THIS IS ALSO APPLICABLE TO TURKEY”

A recent statement by HAMAS leader Ismail Haniyeh disproved Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu's statement that "Palestine very much wants our relations with Israel to be normalized". Haniyeh, in his statement on the subject, said, “We are against the ‘normalisation’ relations of Arab and Muslim states with Israel; This normalization is harmful both for the Palestinian cause and for those states themselves. This is also applicable to Turkey." Haniyeh also noted that they conveyed their anti-normalization stance to the Turkish government. As it will be remembered, the Milli Gazete recently published "We would believe it if we didn't know!" news. It shared with readers that Çavuşoğlu, who tried to make normalization seem innocent, resorted to wordplay.
