Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Ishtiya said that Israel committed the crime of assassinating Adnan "by refusing his release request and keeping him in his cell, subjecting him to medical neglect despite his deteriorating health."

ISRAEL COURT REFUSES REFERRAL TO HOSPITAL
Palestinian prisoner Kheder Adnan has been on a hunger strike for 87 days, which he started against Israel's "administrative detention" in prison without trial.
While human rights organizations declared that Adnan "is at risk of certain death" if he is not transferred from prison to the hospital due to his deteriorating health condition, the Israeli court rejected this request twice.
Adnan, whose health condition has deteriorated recently, has been on a hunger strike for 87 days. In the statement, no further information regarding Adnan's death was shared.
It was recorded that the Palestinian Prisoners Association rejected the request of the occupying Israeli military court to "release on bail" for Adnan, who has been on hunger strike for 78 days and whose health condition deteriorates.
Kheder Adnan went on a hunger strike for 66 days in 2012, 52 days in 2015, 59 days in 2018 and 25 days in 2021, in response to his administrative detention. Adnan started his hunger strike on 5 February.
Accused by Israel of being a member of the Islamic Jihad Movement and participating in anti-Israeli activities, 44-year-old Adnan has been detained many times since 2012 and sentenced to prison with "administrative detention".
ISRAEL COMMITTED ASSASSINATION CRIME
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Ishtiyya said that Israel assassinated Palestinian prisoner Hidir Adnan, who died on the 87th day of his hunger strike, through medical negligence.
Istiyya offered its condolences to the family of Adnan and the Palestinian people, who lost his life while on hunger strike in Israeli prison.

Following the death of Adnan, one of the leaders of the Islamic Jihad Movement in the occupied West Bank, in a written statement, it was stated that "Israel's crimes will not go unanswered and the struggle of the movement will continue unabated."
Emphasizing Adnan's role in the Palestinian resistance, it was noted that the Palestinian resistance against Israel would continue with perseverance and determination.
In a written statement from HAMAS, it was stated that the responsibility for Adnan's death rests entirely with Israel.
"This crime was premeditated and committed in cold blood, and the occupation government will pay for this crime," the statement said.
In the statement of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, it was noted that "Israel is responsible for Adnan's death and will bear the consequences."
The statement called on international human rights organizations to take responsibility and take action to protect Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons.
