Events continue to escalate after Israeli President Isaac Herzog recently announced that Netanyahu's coalition government's judicial arrangement has led to the division of the country.
According to reports in the Israeli press, approximately 130,000 people in Tel Aviv, approximately 4,000 in West Jerusalem, and 6,000 in the northern city of Haifa took to the streets against the policies of the Netanyahu government.
PROTESTORS WALKED FROM HERZOG'S HOME TO NETANYAHU'S HOME
Tens of thousands of people, protesting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bill and policies that restrict the powers of the judiciary, gathered in the capital Tel Aviv.
Thousands of demonstrators of all ages gathered in Azrieli Square in the city center of Tel Aviv, accompanying the slogans "No to dictatorship" and "Democracy" on the stages set up in the square.
Demonstrators gathered in front of the home of Israeli President Isaac Herzog and marched towards Netanyahu's house.
WHAT DID THE PRESIDENT OF ISRAEL ISAAC HERZOG SAID LAST WEEK:
"WE ARE IN A DEEP CONFLICT THAT IS GOING TO DIVISION"
"We are in a deep conflict that is tearing the country apart. This polarization worries me and most of the people in Israel and abroad. I respect the criticisms directed at me, but at the moment I focus on two critical points; to prevent a historic constitutional crisis and further disintegration of society," Herzog said.
