Former Israeli National Security Council Deputy Chairman Eran Etzion criticized the government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for pushing Israel into "strategic stuckness and deadlock" in Gaza.

Etzion emphasized that the country was "strategically stuck and in a deadlock" and stated that the government could neither move the army nor the country to a point that could be described as the "beginning of victory".

Etzion also accused Prime Minister Netanyahu and the government led by him of avoiding setting strategic political goals for "political and personal reasons."

Etzion said that he respects the tactical and operational "successes" of the terrorist Israeli army.

"It was clear from the beginning that there was a prime minister and a government who avoided setting and achieving strategic political goals for political and personal reasons," Etzion added.

Etzion stated that Israel has come to "a crossroads" because of Netanyahu and his government.

4 MORE TERRORISTS WERE KILLED IN GAZA

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that 4 of its soldiers were killed and 3 of its soldiers were injured in the clashes in the Gaza Strip.

In the written statement made by the army, it was stated that soldiers David Schwartz, Gavriel Bloom and Yakir Hexter, who were in the Engineering Battalion, and Sergeant Roi Tal, who was in the Kfir Brigade, were killed in clashes in the Gaza Strip.

The statement stated that 3 Israeli terrorists were injured in the clashes in the Gaza Strip, but did not provide further details. Since October 7, when the Israeli army began its attacks on the Gaza Strip, 514 Israeli terrorist soldiers have been killed, 180 of which were during the land invasion process.

MUJAHEID ARE PUSHING THE TERRORISTS OUT OF GAZA

After a while, violent clashes broke out again between the occupying Israeli forces and Palestinian mujahideen groups in the north of the Gaza Strip.

Violent clashes broke out in the eastern regions of the towns of Cibaliya and Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip and continued until the morning hours.

Israeli tanks launched heavy artillery fire on the areas east of the towns of Jibaliya and Beit Hanun. Israeli warplanes also carried out intense bombardments in the region.

Thick smoke was seen rising from the conflict areas. The attacks decreased as Israeli forces withdrew from large areas in the north of the Gaza Strip to the border areas. It was noted that the clashes in question occurred for the first time in more than a week in the north of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Army Spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that his country has "entered a new and less intense phase" in its occupation of the blockaded Gaza Strip.

$538 MILLION ALLOWANCE FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Various reports published in the Israeli media point out that there has been a significant increase in the number of citizens applying for mental health and rehabilitation services since the start of the war.

Israeli Health Minister Uriel Menachem Buso announced that the government has allocated a budget of 538 million dollars for mental health and rehabilitation services.

Buso noted that a total of 13 thousand Israelis, including 2 thousand 500 soldiers, have been injured since October 7, 2023, when the attacks on the Gaza Strip began.

"Two billion shekels (approximately $538 million) were allocated for mental health services, increasing the number of beds in the rehabilitation system from the current 900 to 1,500," Buso said.

According to Israel's Channel 12 television and Yediot Ahronot newspaper, 9 thousand Israeli soldiers have received psychological support since the beginning of the attacks on the Gaza Strip, and half of them later announced that they would not continue the war.
