After the announcement that a ceasefire was reached between Israel and Palestinian groups attacking the besieged Gaza Strip, HAMAS announced that the party violating this was Israel.
Khalil al-Hayye, Head of the Office of Relations with the Arab and Islamic World of HAMAS, sent a letter to the foreign ministers of Arab countries, ambassadors of dozens of countries and international institutions regarding Israel's attacks.
Stating that the tension that started with the death of Palestinian prisoner Kheder Adnan after the hunger strike that lasted for 86 days, the tension broke out and the Israeli attacks continued to increase, and stated that Israel was the party that violated the ceasefire after the announcement that a ceasefire was reached between Israel and Palestinian groups attacking the Gaza Strip the previous day.
Describing Israel's attacks as "terrorism", Hayye emphasized that this destroys security and stability.
Khalil al-Hayya called on the international community to take responsibility for the Palestinian people and ensure that "Israel is tried in international courts for crimes against humanity".
ISLAMIC JIHAD: “WE WILL RESPOND IN KIND”
The Islamic Jihad Movement, on the other hand, announced that if Israel continues to attack houses in the Gaza Strip, they will respond in kind.
It was stated that if Israel continues to bomb homes in the region, retaliatory attacks will be carried out in Tel Aviv and the interior of Israel.
Daoud Shihab, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement, stressed that "Israel must be compelled to stop its assassinations in order to reach a ceasefire in Gaza."
Mohammed al-Hindi, one of the leaders of the movement, is going to Egypt to stop the attacks on Gaza and to discuss the developments.
