Israeli forces arrested a senior Fatah member Wednesday morning, the Palestinian faction has said in a statement.
Israeli forces arrested Talal Dweikat, a member of Fatah's Revolutionary Council, after searching his home in Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Dweikat, who had previously served as governor of the West Bank city of Jenin, holds the rank of major-general in the Palestinian Authority’s intelligence service.
The Israeli army said in a Wednesday statement that it had arrested 24 Palestinians across the West Bank in overnight raids.
