Making evaluations on the agenda at the Saadet-Gelecek Party Group Meeting, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu drew attention to the attacks carried out by Israel in Gaza and underlined that Gaza continues to resist the attacks.
Karamollaoğlu emphasized that as a result of the determined struggle, a ceasefire was achieved and prisoner exchanges were made possible.
“OPPRESSION DOES NOT STOP BY CONDEMNATION”
Pointing out that the ceasefire in Palestine was achieved thanks to the Palestinian resistance, Karamollaoğlu emphasized that harsh words from the podiums were of no use.
"A handful of Muslims have done what 57 Islamic countries could not do, and they continue to do so. The Palestinian mujahideen have bravely demonstrated what international institutions and organizations could not achieve, and they are succeeding. It's been about two months; Gaza is resisting. They resist with their lives, their blood, their teeth and nails. They resist both Israel and the imperialist states that are party to this oppression. They are waging a determined struggle despite the silence of Islamic countries, media manipulations and perception operations. This is how a ceasefire is achieved with this determined struggle, and this is how prisoner exchanges become possible. Because saying 'down with' does not make Israel feel down. Israeli oppression does not stop just by 'condemning' it! The harsh words spoken from the pulpits so far have not been of any use unless they are supported by the actions taken when they leave the pulpits, they do not work and they will not work from now on," Karamollaoğlu said.
“WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS RISE OF RENTS?”
Pointing out that the bread on the table of citizens living on salaries is getting smaller day by day due to inflation, Karamollaoğlu reminded President Erdoğan's dialogue with a tenant.
"Mr. President personally put a citizen who had a problem with his landlord on his agenda, as if something like this had happened for the first time. He called out to the landlord, who wanted to increase the rent from 2,500 to 7,500 liras, 'Don't you have any conscience?' I don't know if you will laugh or cry? Is it possible that the country has reached this point only because rents have increased several times in one place, or who is the main reason for the increase in rents so much? Why did 20 percent of our people suffer in the past, but today 70 percent of them suffer?" Karamollaoğlu asked.
“AGRICULTURAL LANDS OPENED TO TENDER THROUGH TOKI ARE BEING PAID FOR THE CAPITAL”
Touching on the problems related to agriculture and livestock, Karamollaoğlu underlined that the villages have been emptied for a while due to the blow to agriculture and livestock, and reminded that the government should start selling village lands.
"The development areas in the villages, which were converted into neighborhoods by the Metropolitan Law, have been quietly put up for sale through tender for a while. The villages, which have been emptied for a while due to the blow to agriculture and animal husbandry, are now being given away to the capital owners. The lands put out to tender by TOKİ are taken from the villagers. Currently, 389 village lands are up for sale in Ankara alone! Selling village lands; The loss of areas for animals to graze means a decrease in areas for cultivation. Farmers not producing means our villages being abandoned and production decreasing. The increase in the price of the milk and cheese we buy at home; It means that meat does not enter our tables," Karamollaoğlu added.
“THIS UNDERSTANDING MUST CHANGE”
Pointing out that the villagers who raise livestock in the villages in Ankara send their animals to slaughter, Karamollaoğlu stated that the government should stop this trend.
"Unfortunately, if this trend is not stopped, the danger we will face is famine and food insufficiency. Because when the villages become profitable, the villagers will have to leave there and we will not be able to find farmers to cultivate the land and shepherds to graze the animals. For this reason, I want to appeal to the government; Do not sacrifice our villages, our farmers, or our future for profit! Money is found, debts are paid off, but you can never replace the given land! The future of our villages is the future of the nation, the fertility of the land is the prosperity of the country, never forget that! As the Saadet Party, we say, 'Agriculture and animal husbandry are a matter of national security.' Those who don't produce will run out! This understanding that leaves 'our people without land and our land without people' must definitely change," Karamollaoğlu said.
“POLITICALLY SUPPORTED ROBBERY MUST BE ENDED”
Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu brought up the corruption allegations that have been occupying the country's agenda in recent days.
"Ponzi schemes are everywhere now. Where does this money come from? Those who wear dollars in their hair. Famous football players known to the public, interest rates up to 2 thousand percent. Both those who receive this money and those who open beauty centers say our state, our flag, our call to prayer. People are now suspicious of anyone who says these things. There are politically supported robberies, friends, let's name it. These are not tenders, they are robberies. This politically supported robbery must end. On one side of the table are those who wear dollars in their hair, on the other side are retirees who receive 7,500 liras," Davutoğlu said.
