There are many people who have left their mark on history since the history of humanity, and if we put aside the prophets, there are many people who have left their mark on the history of humanity. Some of them are remembered in a positive sense, while others are remembered and mentioned in a negative way. To give an example of those mentioned in the negative direction, we can count many more such as Pharaohs, Nemruds, Karuns.

Those who are remembered with mercy and goodness in a positive sense are Mevlana, Yunus Emre, Ahmet Yesevi and many more...

Today, there is a respected person who is mentioned with praise, who is remembered with goodness, and who is remembered with mercy, and that is the late Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan. I am one of the lucky people who had the pleasure of working with him for 6 years.

He passed away on February 27, 2011. In the 12th year of his death, we commemorate him once again with goodness and mercy, may his place be heaven and his rank be high.

If we recall what we have heard from our friends, who we live with and who are living, in order to understand what the mark of this magnificent person, the leader of Milli Gorus, has left in the community of the disabled, we can realize the difference.

At the beginning of the 1970s, there was a bill in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to enact a law on hiring the disabled in the public sector. The votes of the government alone were not enough. A group of our visually impaired friends went to the late İsmet İnönü, the leader of the main opposition party;

They say, "Pasha, there is a law proposal in the Parliament, support it on the issue of giving jobs to the disabled in the public sector, so that the law will be enacted, so we can get a job and earn bread".

Pasha's reply; “What, alms and fitrah are not enough for you!”

Another political leader was the late Turgut Özal. Disabled people who want a job; He said, “I can't find a job so I can find a job for the crippled”.

Again, the deceased Demirel; He passed it on to the disabled group, which we are in, by saying, "Okay, it's understood, whatever has been done so far, the same will be done from now on".

A member of the current government, while inaugurating a building, insulted him by saying, "We put you in the place of a man, we put you in a place of people".

In addition to all these, there was also someone who, as soon as he took the authority of the prime minister, convened the Grand National Assembly of Turkey with the agenda of the disabled on 3 December 1996, accepted all the disabled groups in the Parliament and hosted them, and in his speeches, "We are declaring today the day of the disabled for you, you are our special citizens, not the disabled, what we have done to you is not a blessing for you, of course, it is your right," he said.

He first established the "Prime Ministry Administration for the Disabled" with the decrees numbered 571-572-573, by obtaining the authority to issue a decree having the force of law from the Parliament, and increased the rate of employment with disabilities from 2% to 3%.

With the money of that time, 3 trillion liras were transferred for the tools and equipment of the disabled and many more services...

As it can be seen, our late Professor Erbakan has made a difference in the field of disabled people as well as in every field, and those who cannot realize this difference; blind plus ungrateful (I say this for myself).

Once again, we wish God's mercy on our late Erbakan Hodja.
