Three days later, 3 December, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, both public and non-governmental organizations will organize a series of social activities.
Again, promises, caresses and policies to save the day will rise to the top.
It is not a prophecy to say these things in advance, because it is a declaration of the known. As for the reason, we have heard and lived the same tunes for years.
Almost every political party held disability workshops, symposiums and panels in a year since the last 3 December 2021. The public also did similar work throughout the year.
However, the result obtained from these did not reduce the unemployment of the disabled, nor did it fix the problems in the health boards, nor did the problems in the 2022 home care services be resolved.
In short, we wouldn't be exaggerating if we say that none of the problems of the disabled have been cured. Although limiting the private consumption base to 450,000 TL in vehicle purchases and then increasing it to one million and four thousand liras is an indicator of improvement, unfortunately, the limitation has not been lifted.
These days, an issue that the disabled are eagerly waiting for is their vital issue. This is the appointment of disabled personnel to the public, and these appointments traditionalized by the government became made on 3 December. I wonder how many people will be appointed, will we get excited? We hope that this time luck will help our unemployed who are suffering from poverty.
In addition, these days, on the hot agenda, there is the Strengthened Parliamentary System and Constitution studies of the Six Opposition Parties, and on the other hand, the Constitution text prepared by the People's Alliance. Both sides engage in a meaningless discussion, claiming that the Constitutional work they have prepared is better.
In our opinion, whoever makes the Constitution will make all segments of society happy. Disabled and disadvantaged segments should be secured by right, law and justice with positive discrimination. The fact that the rights of the disabled go backwards, do not show any forward development, is because the current system does not fit into the structure of the society due to its disability and inconvenience.
Therefore, the transition to the Strengthened Parliamentary System will be an important factor in solving all kinds of problems as a country. Nowhere in the world has the one-man system that would lead to an authoritarian regime prevail forever. I hope it will be a time when the spirit of unity, togetherness and brotherhood will take root and grow into branches.
Politicians who speak with street jargon, which spreads seeds of hatred, curb their mouth and invite the society to unity, solidarity, brotherhood and peace. Then there will be no problem that cannot be solved.
It should be known that; The only power, strength and might is belongs to Allah alone...
