Another press release came about the "terror investigation" against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB).
Many media members and politicians attended the press statement made by İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu at the city hall in Saraçhane.
Ekrem İmamoğlu, who denied the documents shared by the Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu with the public the other day, responded to the allegations in the terrorism investigation carried out against the İBB.
Answering the questions of journalists, İmamoğlu pointed out the upcoming elections,
"When you eat millions of votes difference, you will understand how the dome of the sky was destroyed," İmamoğlu said.

İBB Mayor İmamoğlu, who denied the allegations in the terrorism investigation initiated through İBB employees.
"We have never been, and never will be, warm water democrats. If I do not do what is necessary, my people should not look at me anyway. Contrary to Istanbul's will, illegitimate, immoral and antidemocratic interventions are applied to us within a timetable and discipline. Despite the fact that they have been victims of unlawfulness, we have a rude mentality that tramples the will of the nation. The scandalous acts of those sitting in the seat of the Ministry of Justice and the Interior... These are not ordinary events," he added.
Reminding the past periods of İBB, İmamoğlu said, "The Minister says, 'We examined 191 people recruited by Mevlüt Uysal and 51 people recruited by Yerlikaya. However, the people whom İmamoğlu recruited should not have served in the public sector. Where would you put that during the period when archival research was free, security investigations and archival research were not requested for 1,800 of the 4,116 recruiters? I am guilty, Uysal and Yerlikaya are clean... Two people who were hired during the Uysal period and whose criminal records wrote 'membership in an armed terrorist organization' and 'management' also got jobs. But if you look, I am guilty, Mr. Uysal is clean."
