İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu, who participated in the "Başakşehir Waste Water, Rain Water and Drinking Water Opening Ceremony" held within the scope of the works of İBB subsidiary İSKİ.
"As İBB , we increased the budget of 2022 investment projects by 100 percent in 2023. We allocated half of the İBB's budget to investments. İBB investments are now transparent, rational and innovative. The infrastructure investment that it has opened in Başakşehir today proves this," İmamoğlu said.
"WE ALLOCATED HALF OF THE İBB BUDGET FOR INVESTMENTS"
Stating that they have provided equal service to all of Istanbul since the day they took office, İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu said, "I claim that there has never been a management in the history of İBB that has completed the existing projects in such a short time and put forward new strong projects. As İBB, we increased the budget of 2022 investment projects by 100 percent in 2023. We allocated half of the İBB's budget to investments. İBB investments are now transparent, rational and innovative. Today, a total of 860 million TL infrastructure investment in Başakşehir reveals this. As İBB, we have set a budget of 10 billion TL against infrastructure and floods."
"WE WILL STRENGTHEN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS"
Ekrem İmamoğlu drew attention to the importance of local governments.
"Başakşehir is one of the growing and important districts of Istanbul. Regardless of which party the district municipalities are from, we will pave the way for their investments. Look, the share allocated to local governments in the Turkish budget is 6. After May 14, we will strengthen local governments. Look, after the earthquakes, we understood the importance of healthy and rational investments by local governments. We must establish a strong administration against the problems, not against the citizens. We need to establish a fair and meritorious country that invests consistently. We know how difficult the İSKİ openings were made today. But we will not be ashamed of 16 million Istanbulites," he added.
