In the program where Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu spoke, the Saadet cadres who will bring Istanbul back to Millî Görüş municipalism once again declared their belief in victory.
Preparing with great energy for the local elections on March 31, 2024, the Saadet Party organized an enthusiastic candidate promotion meeting in Istanbul.
In the program organized with the theme of 'Necmettin Erbakan and Millî Görüş Municipalism', Saadet Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Birol Aydın and the mayoral candidates of Istanbul's 39 districts were introduced.
The program, which was prepared with great dedication for the local elections, attracted great interest from the Saadet Party Istanbul provincial and district organizations, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, Saadet Party Women's Branch Chairman Nurgül Beytiye Ekinci, Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Yılmaz Bayat, Alev Sezen, Yusuf Sunar, Saadet Party Istanbul MPs Mustafa Kaya, Bülent Kaya and Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Ömer Yazıcı attended, as well as many political party representatives.
In the program where the projects prepared by Millî Görüş staff for Istanbul were introduced, Millî Görüş leader Necmettin Erbakan Hodja was commemorated with prayers on the 13th anniversary of his passing to the afterlife.

Addressing the members of the organization, Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Ömer Faruk Yazıcı said, "Our teacher Necmettin Erbakan passed away as the Chairman of the Saadet Party. Ömer Faruk Yazıcı stated that one should be diligent in election activities.

Yılmaz Bayat, who was nominated as mayor candidate again in Üsküdar district by the Saadet Party, where he served as mayor for two terms, touched upon the characteristics of Millî Görüş municipalism.
"One of the most important issues in municipality is consultation. Not everyone can know everything. It is necessary to consult an expert. Another issue in municipality is transparency. The municipal administration should not allow any room for suspicion. A municipality must respect rights. Individual's rights cannot be usurped for the public. There are many Millî Görüş principles like this. I already congratulate the March 31 victory of Millî Görüş municipalism," Bayat said.

Speaking at the candidate introduction meeting, Saadet Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Birol Aydın stated that the work of the members of the organization is important for the March 31 elections.
"We are people who believe that we will win. So please let's water the streets with our sweat in the remaining 35 days. There is no problem in Istanbul and its districts that cannot be solved. Our biggest mega project is that we don't have a mega project. Our most important project is Istanbul, our people living in Istanbul," Aydın said.
