Turkish Healthcare Professionals (Sağlık-Sen) Chairman Mahmut Faruk Doğan reacted to the unscrupulous and merciless call of a thousand Israeli doctors.

"Being a doctor is 'to keep alive, to be breath.' The call by a group of doctors to 'kill' innocent people has gone down as a black mark in human history. The call of a group of Israeli doctors to 'bomb the hospitals in Gaza' clearly reveals the dark ambitions of the Zionist mentality. This declaration shows that even being a doctor has become terrorized in Israeli society. Such declarations that violate all kinds of ethical and moral laws; They will be described as shameful pictures of humanity and medicine in medical faculties and history books. This call is a black mark on a sacred profession like medicine. This black mark will not find a place in conscience and will never be accepted by doctors working around the world," Doğan said.

“WE NEVER ACCEPT THIS WILDNESS”

He expressed his reaction by saying, "The blood of innocent people in Palestine is on the hands and white coats of Israeli doctors."

Doğan said that they would never accept this brutality.

"Bombing hospitals and schools, or being complicit in war crimes, is not an attitude that healthcare professionals will accept. We call on the World Health Organization to take action against this inhumane perspective and barbaric attitude. We invite healthcare professionals in European countries and around the world who say 'human rights first' to take a common stand against this inhumane call," Doğan added.

“WE WILL STAND AGAINST GENOCIDE AND BRUTALITY”

At the end of his statement, Chairman Mahmut Faruk Doğan said, "We, as all healthcare professionals of this country, from doctors to nurses, will always be hope for people in need and heal their wounds. We will continue to stand against openly committed war crimes, genocide and brutality. We call on the whole world once again to say 'stop' to this massacre in the 21st century."
