Joint rally from 14 NGOs: Gathered for the problems of public employees

The "We Are There Platform", which was established by 14 NGOs related to public employees, held the big "We Are There Rally" in Ankara. With the rally, the demands of the civil servants were brought to the agenda.

Public employees, who came together with the participants from all over Turkey, called out from Ankara, Anıtpark for the loss of purchasing power. At the rally, a call was made to solve many problems of public employees, especially their economic problems.

NGO HEADS VOICED THEIR REQUESTS

In their speeches, the heads of NGOs included in the We Also Vary Platform demanded followings:

- Abolition of the Auxiliary Services Class and assignment of the existing personnel to the positions suitable for their training,

- Elimination of 3600 Additional Indicator injustice, unconditional employment of contracted personnel,

- NGOs shared its demands to improve the financial rights of civil servants and retirees and to make some arrangements to fix tax brackets to 10 percent for public employees.
