The first meeting of the six-table's second round of talks was held on October 2 at the CHP Headquarters. The first meeting of the Joint Working Group, which was stated in the statement published after the meeting, was hosted by DEVA Party. In the published statement, the decision regarding the ‘Joint Working Group’ was included in the text with the statements “We have decided to establish a joint working group for the important basic policy areas of our country, to determine common policies in line with the interests of our people and to announce these policies to the public as our joint commitments,” the statement said.
