Nation Alliance presidential candidate and CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu visited Justice Party Chairman Vecdet Öz, one of the components of the ATA Alliance, yesterday.
Speaking after the visit, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "On the 28th, I invite all citizens, all patriots to the ballot box. Come cast your votes and let's change the fate of the country."
Explaining his decision to support Kılıçdaroğlu, Öz said, "We will do our best to keep the Republic of Türkiye standing until the end."
Speaking after the visit, Kılıçdaroğlu said following words:
"We know very well the conditions Türkiye is in. Mr. President and his friends know very well. We already had a meeting before. They have a decision to make. He will explain it to you shortly. I also sincerely thank you. From here, I would like to openly address my esteemed citizens: The conditions in Türkiye are known to all of us. We are struggling to exist or not to exist. Türkiye will be dragged into light or darkness. We all have a responsibility. We must all act with this responsibility. We must bring Türkiye to the light. A Türkiye that separates from fighting, strife, and polarization, a Türkiye that embraces, a Türkiye that respects each other… This is the main goal of all of us. Now, beyond being an election, it has turned into a referendum. We all know where a previous referendum brought Türkiye. The system changed with the constitutional referendum; We see that that system has brought great disasters to Türkiye. Now this structure needs to be changed. The system has to change. Freedom of thought must come. Judicial independence must come. The producer, the employee, the one who sheds sweat must win. That's what we set out for. Let's build a beautiful Türkiye for our children together."
