“Gender equality”, which is one of the fundamental rules of the Law No. 6284 imposed on Turkey by the Council of Europe and the Istanbul Convention, continues to be persistently supported by many state institutions.

The Gender Justice Congress, which will be held by the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM), the women's organization of the ruling party AKP, in partnership with 6 universities, including state universities, will be held on 12-13 May 2022 with the theme of "Women and Space".

It is noteworthy that the term "Gender Justice" is used instead of "Gender Equality" in the congress to be held by KADEM, one of the most persistent defenders of Law No. 6284, which destroys our traditional family structure, and the Istanbul Convention.

It was interpreted that the congress in question was founded on the imposition of "Gender Equality", which envisages a genderless society, that the main purpose has not changed and a perception operation is carried out over words.

The timing of the congress to be held by KADEM on May 12-13 is quite interesting.

The 10th Chamber of the Council of State will discuss and decide on the merits of the lawsuits filed for the annulment of the Istanbul Convention, which was abolished on March 20, 2021, on April 28.

While the defenders of the Istanbul Convention are vigilant en masse to cancel the annulment decision, it is commented that KADEM gave the green light to the defenders of the Istanbul Convention with this congress.

“WE WILL WORK TO STRENGTHEN THE LAW NO. 6284”

Operating with the theme of "equality in existence, justice in responsibility", KADEM criticized Turkey's exit from the Istanbul Convention.

KADEM, of which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's daughter Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar is the vice-chairman, criticized Turkey's withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention with the Presidential decision.

"The Istanbul Convention was an important initiative to combat violence against women. At this point, it has been cut off from its ground and transformed into a subject of social tension. We read the termination decision as a result of this tension. As the Women and Democracy Association, our preference on this issue was to give an interpretation statement to the Council of Europe that would eliminate the aforementioned discussions. As a matter of fact, important achievements have been made so far with all the pioneering and support policies of the government on women's rights. As KADEM, we will persistently follow our achievements in the general struggle for women's rights, with the slogan 'Equality in Existence, Justice in Responsibility', as before. We declare to the public that we will work with all our strength to further strengthen the law no. 6284 in the fight against violence and to eliminate the problems in its implementation," she said.

A GENDER NEUTRAL SOCIETY IS WANTED TO BE CREATED

The concept of “Gender Equality”, which entered the national agenda as of 2010 and brought about many discussions, aims to disrupt our social dynamics, disrupt the Turkish family structure, and gradually create a genderless society.

Doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, sociologists, academics and family experts who have conducted extensive research on the subject state that the concept of “Gender Equality” aims to degenerate our Islamic values, which are the dough of society, by disrupting the patriarchal structure in our Muslim Turkish family structure.

Although “Gender Equality” has the expression of equality in its name, it fully aims to pacify men in society, to highlight women in every plan, and more dangerously, to legitimize deviant sexes other than male and female genders and to create new genders.

With this project, it is aimed that women, women, men and other sexual models with different deviant tendencies have official identities.
