Turkish Presidency Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın said that Turkey has the right to close Incirlik Airbase, a key base for the anti-Daesh coalition campaign in Syria.
"We have the right to close the airbase, but we don't have any rush in evacuating the airbase," said Turkish spokesman on Thursday.
Turkey told US officials it has not received sufficient support in its fight against Daesh in the last month-and-a-half and expects full support in its bid to drive the Daesh terrorists out of Syria's al-Bab. If U.S. didn't break the promises it gave, then Aleppo wouldn't have faced such a big massacre," Kalın said.
Ibrahim Kalin adding that he had the impression US President-elect Donald Trump's administration would take greater account of Turkey's "sensitivities".
