Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important statements regarding the agenda at the weekly press conference.
At a press conference held at the Balgat Education Center, Karamollaoğlu made assessments on the current issues and the killing of Qasem Solaimani, particularly Iran's hitting the US military bases in Iraq.
"THE PATRIOTS CANNOT PROTECT THE AIR BASES"
Expressing concern that the developments in the region themselves, Karamollaoğlu said that the developments in both the region and the world pointed to serious troubles.
Karamollaoğlu said that Iran would hit US military bases in Iraq after the US assassination of Iranian commander Qasem Solaimani. Several explanations came. It turned out that the Patriots on US bases could not protect the air base.

Karamollaoğlu, who made evaluations on the assassination of Iranian commander Qasem Solaimani, said, "It is a crime for a state to assassinate a state official. It's a crime, whether it's a soldier or a civilian. This is a crime under international law. According to US law, it is a crime… Trump is an uncontrolled person. But at this point, if the US has a goal of protecting its reputation in the world, they may think that we should sacrifice Trump. Unlikely! It is also a danger for the USA. After that, Iran will not be comfortable. If the missiles thrown seriously hit Israel, Israel would be miserable. The United States is a country that is not targeted at all in its territory," he added.
"WE SUPPORT THE MARINE AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH LIBYA"
Karamollaoğlu transferring their support for the Sea Powers Agreement signed between Turkey and Libya, made important warnings. Stating that Mehmetçik (Turkish troops) started to go to Libya, Karamollaoğlu said:
"The Russians sent a senior commander to the Haftar side. I hope that Libya will not be turned into a lake of blood. New chaos should be avoided, provocations should be careful and dialogue channels should be kept open. We stress that diplomatic channels should be kept open regardless of the circumstances. Diplomatic channels for peace should be open. We should never forget that."
