Saadet Party leader Temel Karamollaoğlu issued a message on the anniversary of the death of Şevket Kazan, a member of the National Opinion (Milli Görüş) Movement and Saadet Party High Advisory Board.
Stating that Sevket Kazan is both a companion and an exceptional brother in his message, Karamollaoğlu underlined that Kazan left an exemplary life with his morality, stance and struggle determination.

Recognizing such a precious name and walking the road is one of the great blessings to be obtained in this world," Karamollaoğlu added.

Karamollaoğlu, who noted that there were very troublesome periods in Kazan's exemplary struggle life, stated the following in his message:
"On his way with Erbakan Hodja, his parties were closed for the sake of the values he believed in. It was hit by coups and we all stayed in prison together. It was February 28, and we went through that period together. But I personally witnessed in his person; Şevket Kazan was never daunted by pressures, and did not even take a step back in the way he believed. Recognizing such a precious name and walking the road is one of the great blessings to be obtained in this world. For this reason, I believe that the life Şevket Kazan left behind sets a precious example for both us and the younger generations. With these feelings and thoughts, I remember him once again with mercy and gratitude. May his place be in heaven."
