Felicity (Saadet) Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu attended the dinner meeting held within the scope of his party's İzmir program and addressed businessmen and non-governmental organization managers. In his statement here, Karamollaoğlu stated that each political party sets targets on how to solve the country's problems in its own program and said, "Priority issues can sometimes be different. There may be different approaches to economics. There may be different understandings in foreign policy. But no matter what, we have adopted the principle of highlighting the issues that we are allied with rather than bringing the conflicting issues to the fore at the 6-party table. For him, there is no question of a fight or a conflict at the 6-side table."
KARAMOLLAOĞLU: “A JOINT CANDIDATE IS THE SHORTEST WAY TO SUCCESS IN ELECTION”
Emphasizing that they aim to transform an understanding that turned into a dictatorship to a point where freedom of thought is dominant, Karamollaoğlu added, “Every issue can be discussed in the parliament. But let the parliament have the last word. President's mistake If so, this error can be prevented. If we can't provide that, then we're not out of trouble. When the election date is determined, we sit down, if we can identify a joint candidate, we will. Choosing a joint candidate is the shortest way to be successful in the election. This is my opinion and I think that other friends of ours also have the same opinion. I don't think it's any use for anyone to repeat who your candidate is. Don't worry anyone. Our talks will continue and I hope that we will show the candidate who will get the best results together.”
“POLITICS IS MADE ONLY TO SERVE THE NATION”
Temel Karamollaoğlu, who underlined that as the parties of Milli Gorus, attaches importance to three issues in politics, said: “The first is to protect moral and spiritual values. If this feature does not exist in a politician, eventually it starts to give a deficit from somewhere. Politics is actually a duty that must be done to serve the nation. When someone undertakes this which principles to guide him? Moral and spiritual values have to be our foremost flag. While serving the nation, we cannot carry out this work by considering our own interests. We cannot lie, we cannot be unjust, we cannot slander. We cannot make any concessions on our principles. We have to be honest, we have to be fair. If the state is not built on justice, injustice will arise. You suddenly come to a position where all the means of the state are placed at your disposal. What will happen, my dear, so that our own relatives can also benefit from it a little bit. No friend, you can't take advantage of it. Politics is made only to serve the nation. No corruption, waste or bribery is allowed. If you neglect these principles, you will not be able to succeed. The number one principle of politics for us is the revival of moral and spiritual values.”
“WE CAN'T STRENGTHEN WITHOUT DEVELOPMENT”
Expressing the importance of production-oriented investments, Saadet Party leader Karamollaoğlu continued as follows: “The material development of our country can only be achieved if all the opportunities entrusted to us are made to serve this nation. We cannot grow stronger without development. It will not be possible for us to please our people without fair distribution of the profits we will gain from this development in the society. When we say development, progress and empowerment in the economy in principle, we see it as a necessity to realize this with production-oriented investments. First of all, we need our country to stand up as a whole. We should be able to continue our lives without being dependent on the outside. We will definitely invest in all our needs, from needle to thread, from medicine to machinery manufacturing, to aircraft manufacturing. After eliminating waste, corruption and bribery from the bottom of today's problems, we will focus on investments that will raise us up in our country and strengthen us. That's why our goal is very clear. If this task is given to us, I believe we can handle it. Even in today's conditions, let's transfer our opportunities to this field, Turkey creates a leap beyond our expectations during the a few year.”
Deputy Chairmen of the Saadet Party; Sabri Tekir and Şerafettin Kılıç, Provincial President Mustafa Erduran and many guests were present at the meeting.
