Saadet Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu visited Turkey Union of Chambers of Agriculture (TZOB) Chairman Şemsi Bayraktar. During the meeting, which discussed the problems of agriculture and livestock, President Karamollaoğlu was accompanied by a large delegation from the Saadet Party. TZOB Chairman Bayraktar, Karamollaoğlu and his committee informed the farmers about the difficulties experienced.

You can postpone buying cars, but you can't postpone food. Food is the most strategic sector. Our farmers feed 81 million. It feeds 40 million tourists. Not enough feeds refugees.
Mr. Bayraktar stated that the food provided 17 billion dollars of exportation and added, these are done despite structural problems. Our land is fragmented. We have lands that don't open to irrigation. We have an organizational problem. Economic organizations cannot regulate the market. We observe significant increases in fertilizer, feed, medicine and diesel. Today, we realize that the use of fertilizers in our wheat producing regions has decreased. This may adversely affect wheat production. Bread can also affect prices. We want the government to translate and support the sails into the agricultural sector.
Karamollaoğlu underlined that agriculture and animal husbandry is the number one issue in every country and said, hay Without agriculture, people cannot survive. There are people starving. Because of Turkey's most strategic sectors of agriculture and livestock breeding. It gives the sector the efficiency it needs as soon as possible. It gives the product in six months. I think that this sector, which yields in such a short period of time, is um financially distressing, as being insensitive or incompetent. You get different yields from other sectors of agriculture as soon as possible. Of course they need mechanisms. These mechanisms unfortunately disappeared.
When the farmer is stuck, he needs a loan for a preliminary preparation, Karamollaoğlu said, criticizing the Ziraat Bank, which was established to support the farmer, and not fulfilling the need. To support the farmer, a bank is now abandoning this function and dealing with different tasks. The loan to the farmer should be free of interest. The government should realize that agriculture and animal husbandry are the country's number one issue. After that, the solution is made. Indicating that the number of producers dealing with sugar beet is rapidly decreasing, Karamollaoğlu said that sugar beet is a strategic product and that beet has a great contribution to livestock sector.
