Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important statements on the agenda on TV5 screens.
Making statements regarding the Turkey agenda, Karamollaoğlu conveyed the details of the last meeting of the Six Tables.
Speaking about the joint candidate, Karamollaoğlu said, "The presidential candidate will definitely be clarified in February."
“CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AN ANSWER IN THE SOCIETY”
Expressing that there was no tension at the Six Opposition Party alliance, Karamollaoğlu stated that the presidential candidate came to the table for the first time after the election decision was taken.
Speaking about the common island, Karamollaoğlu said, "It is necessary to finalize a presidential candidate who can be elected, won the favor of the society and supported by all six parties in the coming weeks. The name was not spoken. We just talked about the time to nominate and that we need to nominate the presidential candidate in the coming days. This issue will definitely be clarified in February. We may inevitably have something in our hearts, but this candidate must have a response in the society and be eligible. If he does not have the most important feature, we have nominated a candidate, but if we assume that this candidate cannot be elected anyway, this would not be a correct determination."
“COMMON POLICIES TEXT WILL BE OUR COALITION PROTOCOL”
Karamollaoğlu stated that the joint policies text to be announced on January 30 is the coalition protocol, and that the prepared study will be a text showing what the opposition will do after the election.
Karamollaoğlu said, “Each party has detailed and different opinions on every issue. But this is a text of consensus. While doing this, don't be too insistent at this point, I also think differently. The other side should behave similarly. We will try to come to an agreement on a common point. We will ensure that the candidate to be determined will follow a policy within the framework of this protocol.”
“LET THE PRESIDENT BE PREPARED TO FACE SHOCK IN THE ELECTIONS”
"Mr. President, I say this as a person with whom we have been friends in the past. Be prepared to face a shock. Do not be surprised if the results of the election fall below the numbers that they even mention today. All election boards have changed, the constitutional court is changing. They may think that we can really make a legal decision from here, but they are being deceived. I think that the judges who come to that office should clearly demonstrate their attitudes in the face of injustice," Karamollaoğlu added.
“ELECTION AND OTHER ISSUES SHOULD NOT BE MIXED”
Referring to the headscarf debate, Karamollaoğlu stated that some expressions in the text prepared by the People's Alliance may lead to wrong results and said, "When the lawyers and professors I trusted analyzed this text, they emphasized that it was not a correct text, and that it should be expressed in better sentences. They said that if the expression "religious belief" was put directly into the Constitution, it would be wrong, it could be abused. Since the headscarf is the issue, hesitations should be eliminated here. Other issues should not be confused with the election, only the election should be discussed. If a referendum is to be held, it is held separately. We cannot accept this. There may be those who think and abuse this, which is a wrong approach and should not be respected."
