Felicity (Saadet) Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important statements on the 5th anniversary of the July 15 treacherous coup attempt. Karamollaoğlu shared on his Twitter account, "On the 5th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, I wish God's mercy to all our martyrs who did not allow the coup by shielding their chests, and I express my gratitude to our veterans."
Saying that there are lessons to be learned from July 15, Karamollaoğlu said, "The government did not understand the spirit of unity and solidarity that emerged in the society on July 15. The exact opposite; has adopted a political approach that is increasingly polarized, separated from the people, separating everyone and criminalizing everyone."
Karamollaoğlu, drawing attention to the process reached until July 15, "Our nation has witnessed very clearly how the environment was prepared for the July 15 attempt and how the putschists settled in the state. The ruling party played the biggest role in these developments. For this reason, this initiative is full of lessons that politicians, the state and our nation should take in many aspects. 15 July process; It has shown us how the abolition of institutions and institutionalism with the ambition of taking revenge on the past poses a great danger for a country."

Referring to the importance of the resistance on the night of July 15, Karamollaoğlu said, "Of course, July 15 was an epic of resistance that would guide a country for generations. However, the government turned the cherished memory and spirit of July 15, the legacy of that day, into a fairy tale to create its own authoritarian system. It used the spirit of resistance for its own gain and still uses it. The government did not understand the spirit of unity and solidarity that emerged in the society on July 15. The exact opposite; has adopted a political understanding that becomes increasingly polarized, detached from the people, separating everyone and criminalizing everyone."

Karamollaoğlu also pointed out how the spirit of July 15 should be and said:
