Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu attended to the opening ceremony of the exhibition “From Palace to Art” at the Ankara Bar Association Atilla Sav Exhibition Hall.
The exhibition “From Palace to Art”, featuring the works of illumination artist Memnune Birkan and her group, was opened with the participation of Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, Culture, Art and Tourism Policy Board and Head of Women's Branch Nurgül Beytiye Ekinci.
In the exhibition, which will be held at Ankara Bar Association Atilla Sav Exhibition Hall between January 9-15, a total of 42 pieces of art, in which values such as caftans, curtains and carpets, inspired by the history of Topkapı Palace, are brought together with illumination, were presented to art lovers.
Stating that they are trying to transfer the "illumination art", which is one of the oldest Turkish decorative arts, to future generations and to contribute to cultural richness, the artists stated that they are trying to reveal the value that the Ottoman period palace gave to art with the name of the exhibition.
Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, who examined all works in the exhibition one by one, also received information about the works.
