Felicity (Saadet) Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made a series of visits in Antalya… Addressing the industrialists in Antalya, Karamollaoğlu called for support from the state…
Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, who made a series of visits in Antalya, attended the Antalya Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (ANSIAD) Mediterranean Meeting. Addressing the industrialists at the meeting, Karamollaoğlu emphasized that a collective development is necessary in every field, especially in agriculture, and stated that the government should take steps in this regard, and said, "In Turkey, we cannot stand up unless we make a big move, especially in agriculture, medicine, food, industry and technology, raw material processing, especially in the production of high quality steel in iron and steel.”
“TAXES TAKEN ON INPUT IN AGRICULTURE MUST BE RESET”
Expressing that Turkey should provide support primarily in the field of agriculture, Karamollaoğlu called for the zeroing of taxes on inputs in the field of agriculture. “We have to zero taxes on all inputs in all fields of agriculture. At the same time, we need to spread agriculture in all areas of Turkey. When you go east, towards Diyarbakır and Mardin, irrigation is a big problem. In order to produce here, electricity and water are drawn from 700-800 meters, which increases the electricity bills. The state has to compensate for this somehow,” Karamollaoğlu added.
“SUPPORT SHOULD BE PROVIDED TO THE INDUSTRIALISTS”
Pointing out that the costs of the steps taken to protect the environment are high, Karamollaoğlu stated that state support should be given in these steps as well, and said, “The state should cover every step that will protect the environment. If we put this on the back of the industrialist, he will not be able to handle it. The industrialist will both supply products to the domestic market and export. Anyway, we say that Turkey should stand up on a product basis, if there is an export potential, we will export and earn foreign currency, but if we import from abroad, we will produce. We have to become self-sufficient in foreign currency. We have to find new markets. There is no rule that we will do it to the West."
“WE SEE THE SIGNAL OF WHAT WE CAN DO WITH UNMANNED COMBAT AERIAL VEHICLES”
Karamollaoğlu stated that if a major move is not made in Turkey, especially in agriculture, medicine, food, then industry and technology, raw material processing, especially iron and steel, Turkey can not stand up, “We have seen the sign of what we will do recently. Where, here are the Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (SİHAs). I have known them for 40 years, Tayyip Bey knows them too. After all, he chose Selçuk Bey as his groom. They wrote epics and they write. It was clear beforehand that they would achieve these feats. Most recently, an aircraft engine research was carried out in Eskişehir. They produced 7-8 types of engines. I hope that Temel Kotil will also take advantage of these at the head of TUSAŞ (Aerospace Industries Inc.) to design and launch new warplanes models. I believe it. We have the models that Europeans put into use in a long time, in 10 years. I believe that our people will put them into action within 3, at most 4 years, and they will make warplanes capable of fighting," Karamollaoğlu added.
“TURKEY NEEDS CHANGE FOR A NORMALLY WORKING LEGAL SYSTEM”
Expressing that the third 6-party summit organized by the opposition parties will take place on Sunday, Karamollaoğlu noted that, as political parties, they now come together as parties whose programs and policies do not overlap 100 percent with each other, and that their aim is to change this system, and this is their goal. “My opinion about the unity of the 6 parties, this unity will continue. Because if this union does not continue, it means that the possibility of making this change disappears. Each party can go on its own. As a result, the votes we will get will be our share, it means that ours will not be big, but we will not be successful in changing this system. Why did I come here? Because our problem was that Turkey had a normal functioning law in the beginning. This change is needed in order to have a normally functioning law system,” he said.
