Saadet Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important statements on the agenda at the regular weekly press conference. At a press conference held at the headquarters of his party, Karamollaoğlu made evaluations on foreign policy and allegations of voter lists, particularly in the local elections and economy.

Karamollaoğlu, reacted to the US President Donald Trump's 'We devistate Turkey economically' sayings. "Everyone should know, Turkey is not a country to be brought into line with threats. We're never going to fall our heads to blackmail. Our country is an independent nation. The government should preserve the country's credibility by emphasizing independence in every environment." he said.

Recalling that the Refah Party was closed by the Constitutional Court 21 years ago, Karamollaoğlu said, "We were disturbed when we came to the uneasy decision. If that decision had not been taken, today's conditions would not occur. If you balance the democracy, you encounter the conditions you have never expected. We regret this point. Today, those in power must act by thinking about what will happen after 21 years. We have always said the truth. We made decisions for the good of their people." he added.

Referring to President Erdoğan's statement regarding Sakarya Tank Pallet Factory's statement that the work is not privatization, but the transfer of operating rights to the BMC, Karamollaoğlu said, "If this is not a privatization, it is stated that this is a privatization in the Official Gazette. AK Party managers should stop playing with words. Choosing the words that make their work different does not change the essence of the work. This is privatization like honey. The privatizations of this type have very big problems if not attention. And this factory is rotten. The plants we have are lost in different ways. We have to look at this factory as our pupil."

Karamollaoglu, "There are questions to ask. Why, have we not heard of a tender? Why was this given directly to the firm? Under what conditions? How much money? There are military experts working here, what are they? What about their status? If none of these are taken into account, they all go away. These factories need to be protected by the state. We never saw this sensitivity in power. They sold the entire accumulation of 95 years." he asked the government.

The economy does not give any confidence about our future, Karamollaoğlu said. "When compared to a year ago, 500 thousand people were unemployed. Only this number is sufficient. 2 million hectares of land raised by the Minister of Agriculture has not been planted. The Minister of Agriculture says, "We're going to get it back into production." Well, how do you do it? We ask. They're paying $ 2 billion. For the development of agriculture, 1% of the national income should be supported by the farmers. Currently, this figure is 44 billion, but they support 16 billion. Is there such a logic? Not even giving support to agriculture. How's that gonna work out?" he said.
