"We must come together as Islamic countries"

The 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the Economic Cooperation Organization (D-8) was celebrated with a reception. Shaari began his opening speech by thanking the State Department for the new office they had provided to the D-8. Underlining that D-8 has become an increasingly powerful alliance since its inception, Shaari, D-8 Payment System, International D-8 University, D-8 Aviation Network, D-8 Industrial Area, D-8 Research Center. He said that projects such as the Health and Social Protection Program reflect the organization's success. Shaari stated that the D-8 has established important bilateral relations with private and public institutions in the local and international context and that these relations are being developed.
Karamollaoğlu explained that the strong states and structures around the world are trying to establish dominance over other states and added: "We need to come together to stand against this. This has to stop being economic only. We need to get together at other points and there is convenience. As Islamic countries, we have the same social and moral values. So we have to get together. However, it should include not only Islamic countries, but also all the countries whose victims are exploited under the circumstances. We took a step.
