The Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Istanbul Branch organized a program in the courtyard of the Fatih Mosque in order to support the Muslims in Kashmir and to protest the invasion of India which entered its 72nd year.
In the program that started following the evening prayer, the Qur'an was read for all martyrs, especially those who lost their lives in the Kashmir struggle.
AGD Istanbul Branch Chairman Yunus Genc, who read the press release on behalf of the group after the Qur'an reading, recalled the humanitarian crisis in Kashmir.
Giving information about the historical and geographical structure of Kashmir, Genc said, "Kashmir; It is the name of the 72-year occupation in which British colonial politics, Indian oppression and the hypocrisy of the United Nations are not heard or unwanted to be heard," he said.
Yunus Genc said that the people of Kashmir are in great trouble because of the situation in Kashmir. People in Kashmir cannot sustain their daily lives. As a result of the raids on the houses, there is no news from the people taken from their homes. It is not possible to reveal the magnitude of the humanitarian crisis in the region as all communication lines are cut. Kashmir is being turned into an open-air prison..
WE CAN ALWAYS ESTABLISH A NEW WORLD TOGETHER
Giving attention to the Zionist mentality behind the occupation of India in Kashmir, Genç said, "We can eliminate all plans prepared by the imperialist and Zionist structures for the Islamic geography only if we can reveal a strong will. We can only stop the invasion of India's invasion of Kashmir, Israel, the main cause of terror in the Middle East, and America, which destroys and destabilizes geographies for its own interests. We, as the Anatolian Youth Association, declare that we are with the people of Kashmir to the whole world, we call on our state, Islamic countries and oppressed all geographies."
INDIA APPLIES STATE TERRORISM IN KASHMIR
Genç, "Since the beginning of the Kashmir problem has cost the lives of 500 thousand people. In the last thirty years, 114 thousand Kashmiris have been martyred, more than 10,000 Muslim women have been raped and nearly 2 million people have been homeless. Kashmir is being turned into an open air prison. Increased state terror all over the world has also grown in India," he said.
INDIA MOVED TERRORISM IN THE MIDDLE EAST TO ASIA
Speaking in the program, Cansuyu and IYFO consultant İsmail Mansur Özdemir said, “Kashmir is the geography of our valiant brothers. Kashmir is our brother in history. But our brothers in Kashmir do not see daylight under Indian persecution. With the support of the United States and Israel, the perpetrators of global terrorism, India has carried the crisis in the Middle East to terror in Asia. They've done this in Bangladesh before. They executed Erbakan Hodja's friends. The Indian government was behind this persecution.”
The program ended in the absence of a funeral prayer for Kashmir martyrs and praying.
