Republican People’s Party (CHP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) held their weekly group meetings in the Turkish Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu came to power over the economy at the group meeting of his party. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli made harsh criticisms of the opposition parties.
"15 MILLION PEOPLE ARE UNDERNOURISHED IN TURKEY"
CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu harshly criticized the government's agricultural policy, saying that there are thousands of acres that are not cultivated in agriculture. Referring to President Erdogan's statement "There is no hunger", Kılıçdaroğlu said, "He doesn't know what to say. Let's look at the data. According to the World Food Organization's Hunger Map, 15 million people in Turkey are undernourished. In addition, 500 thousand people have been added to 15 million people in the last three months. 6 percent of babies under 5 years old are malnourished. Why are the children of poor families short? Doomsday breaks out in the world of the oppressed, and the oppressor lives happily in his palace. Everyone in the palace is full. The children of the palace are playing the million dollar transfer game. How do we transfer millions of dollars from Turkey to USA, how do we buy farms. The cruel does not understand the situation of the poor. When those glass mansions are demolished, we will see them all together."
"KILICDAROGLU'S BELIEF NOT A HANDICAP"
MHP Chairperson Devlet Bahçeli touched upon the debates about Kılıçdaroğlu's identity and said, "Kılıçdaroğlu's belief in Alevi Islam is not a loss, not a handicap, not something he should be ashamed of or embarrassed about."
Continuing his statement about the closure of the People’s Democratic Party (HDP), Bahçeli said: “The closing of the HDP is a duty of the Constitutional Court to justice, history, nation and martyrs that cannot be neglected. The aggression and punches of the so-called deputies are the same as the bullets that come out of the guns of terrorists. The Turkish Nation cannot tolerate these ticks, these terrorist extensions any longer.”
