Expressing that there is no resentment between them and the Good (Iyi) Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener, Kılıçdaroğlu underlined that if the candidate is one of the table, this can be a plus.
Main opposition party CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu met with journalists following his party and made a year-end evaluation. Kılıçdaroğlu then gave questions to journalists about the agenda.
“There is no resentment between me and Akşener”
Kılıçdaroğlu conveyed the details of his meeting with Iyi Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener and said that there was no resentment between him and Akşener. Expressing that the Six Tables will continue on its way with determination, Kılıçdaroğlu underlined that if the candidate is one of the table, this can be a plus.
“MULTIPLE CANDIDATES NOT TALKED”
Regarding the multiple candidate debate, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that this issue was not discussed at the table.
Referring to the EYT regulation, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Erdogan said, 'If I knew I would lose the election, I would not do it', he knows that he will lose the election, he realizes that, I will make him do a lot more. He does not know how to manage the state, he learns from me, he does not know how to intervene, he learns from me. I will make him do more."
CONTACT WITH SYRIA AFTER 11 YEARS
Kılıçdaroğlu, on the establishment of contact with Syria after 11 years, said, "My thoughts on Syria were clear from the very beginning, I said that you are doing it wrong, I wrote a letter to Erdoğan, 27 August 2012, 10 years ago; I said you are doing it wrong. Let me be clear to Erdogan, I know the state much better than you. You have destroyed the entire state of the Republic of Turkey for the sake of your personal interests."
