Republican People’s Party (CHP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) held their weekly group meetings in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA). CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu came to power over the economy at the group meeting of his party. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli made harsh criticisms of the opposition parties.

KILIÇDAROĞLU: “THEY SOLD ALL THE SUGAR FACTORIES”

Kılıçdaroğlu, who stated that the government sold all sugar factories, said, “Which factories did the Justice and Development Party (AKP) governments establish? What did they do besides selling? We say that every factory is a fortress. We say that every factory is an employment. They sold sugar factories and after 24 years had to import sugar from abroad. I want every citizen to ask his own conscience; What happened that the whole Republic of Turkey had to import sugar from abroad? Can you call this the healthy management of the state?”

KILIÇDAROĞLU: “WE COULD BE LIKE YOU”

Responding to the 'imprisonment' threat against him at the group meeting of MHP leader Bahçeli, Kılıçdaroğlu added, "By the way, Someone threatened to send me to jail. If the best of you comes, it cannot bring us to our knees. Who are you? If we were afraid of prisons, we wouldn't be so brave, we would be like you." Expressing that there are dozens of people who will solve the economy, Kılıçdaroğlu pointed out that they will solve the problems with a table of 6.

BAHÇELİ: "YOU FIND A PLACE ON AN EMPTY BUNK"

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, criticizing CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's speech at the Mayors' Workshop in Van, said, "If you are very eager, if you yearn for terrorist Demirtaş, if you say you can't live without Kavala, continue a little longer. You find a place on an empty bunk. You can spread your sackcloth and hang your carpet on the wall.” Defending that a new cross-border operation should be started, Bahçeli also touched upon the NATO membership of Sweden and Finland and added: "According to our assessment, Sweden and Finland are punished with a red card."
