Political parties in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) started to hold weekly group meetings.
While CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu responded to the criticisms about Table of Six at the group meeting, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made harsh criticisms of the opposition.
“FIRST, THE UNION SHOULD SEEK WORKERS' RIGHTS”
Kılıçdaroğlu, regarding the new minimum wage announced as 11,402 TL, "Is this a reasonable number? What surprises me is that the President of Türk-İş never objected to this. It is the duty of the union to seek the rights and law of the worker first. If the union has mortgaged its will to the Palace, it ceases to be a union. Its legal name is 'yellow unionism'. Do not make an extraordinary increase, okay, we said 15,000 liras. This was also not accepted. Therefore, it was up to us to seek the rights and laws of the worker," he said.
Kılıçdaroğlu said that the people who donated support on TV screens during the earthquake did not deposit the amount they said, and continued as follows:
"I make a clear call; where are these coins? Who didn't pay? You'll be on TV, you'll say glorious words, you'll be gone when it comes to paying the money. This money pays and even covers the electricity and water bills of the houses in the earthquake zone until the end of the year."
"NOT A TABLE OF 6, I WILL SET A TABLE OF 16"
Kılıçdaroğlu, responding to the criticism about Table of Six, "These are citizens' votes, but they take the instruction from outside. They made fake videos about me, came out, confessed, as a montage. What happened to these videos? Those who make fake videos are called fraudsters. A fraudulent person cannot become a president. None of us, any CHP member, has the right to despair. It is our duty to bring Turkey to the light under the most difficult conditions. Not a table of 6, if necessary, I will set up a table of 16 for Turkey to come to the light. We will definitely send the Cabinet of the Public of this Dream," he added.
MHP STARTS PREPARATIONS FOR LOCAL ELECTIONS
The upcoming local elections were on the agenda of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. Regarding the municipalities lost by the People's Alliance, Bahçeli, "MHP started the preparation process for these elections. Our first strategic goal is to retain our current mayors and add more. Our second strategic goal is to act in accordance with the nature of the People's Alliance and to put an end to the evil state of the municipalities under the leadership of opposition parties," he said.
Bahçeli stated that the Central Bank's view of the interest rate before the interest rate decision was clear, and said, "An increase in interest rates is a political choice that puts a dent in the production wheel. However, there are short-term and sometimes painful measures that need to be taken for Turkey to achieve economic stability, and it is inevitable to endure the current burden."
In addition, Bahçeli repeated his call for the abolition of university exams.
