In the General Assembly, where elections were held with two lists, the current Chairman Ali Yalçın was re-elected as the chairman by reassuring him.

Yalçın, who made a thank you speech after the election results were announced, stated that they would start with new plans for the provinces affected by the earthquake disaster,
"As the Memur-Sen family, our first job tomorrow will be to continue our work for our citizens affected by the earthquake, to make new plans to heal the wounds, and to take new steps. Again, our most important job is to roll up our sleeves regarding the problems that await education workers, and to continue our struggle to solve problems and produce gains. Because our reason for existence is to improve the economic, social and personal rights of our members and education workers and to expand the areas of freedom. This is our main founding purpose," he said.

Şükrü Kolukısa, who is a candidate for the presidency of Eğitim-Bir-Sen, also wished success to the selected team in his speech.

Ali Yalçın (President), Talat Yavuz (Secretary General), Mesut Öner (Vice President for Organization), Abdülaziz Aydın (Vice President for Financial Affairs), Muammer Karaman (Vice President for Press and Communications), Ramazan Çakırcı (Vice President for Legal and Collective Agreements), Ali Deniz (Vice President for Education and Social Affairs).
