Within the scope of the "Time for Solidarity with Women from Women" campaign initiated by the Commission, together with Humanitarian Aid Association (IHH), women's solidarity packages gathered in 71 provinces were delivered to those in need in the earthquake area.
Aid mobilization continues for the provinces that were destroyed after the earthquakes, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş.
Within the scope of the "Time for Solidarity with Women from Women" campaign initiated by the Memur-Sen Confederation Women's Commission, together with IHH, women's solidarity packages gathered in 71 provinces were delivered to the earthquake zone.
Visiting tent cities in Hatay's İskenderun, Antakya and Reyhanlı districts, which are among the regions most affected by the earthquake, and in Kahramanmaraş and Malatya, Memur-Sen Women's Commission Head Sıdıka Aydın and commission members came together with the earthquake victims and provided support.
While children as well as women were not forgotten against the problems experienced in the region, the Commission gave the message that the support given to the region would continue, while supporting the children in the region with toys and gifts.
“WE WILL BUILD CITIES OF BROTHERHOOD”
Speaking about the earthquake area, Aydın stated that the wounds will be healed.
"We witnessed the resurgence of determination and hope in the soil of patience, gratitude and fortitude; With the permission of Allah and the foresight of our people, we will heal our wounds; We will build cities of brotherhood on top of all destruction. Our hope is always greater than our suffering," Aydın said.
