Türkiye is getting closer to the May 14 elections step by step. Speaking at the consultation meeting held in Bağcılar by "Eğitim-Bir-Sen" educators union branch no. 1 before the process, Ali Yalçın, Chairman of "Memur-Sen", touched upon the problems of public employees and stated that the collective bargaining table is getting closer.
He called on the government to solve the problems.
“WE FIGHT TO SOLVE PROBLEMS”
Stating that they continue to work in order to increase the purchasing power of the employees and to end their economic concerns, Yalçın noted that the real solution can be achieved with the provision of justice in income distribution.
"Now we are struggling to solve new problems and approaching the collective bargaining desk, which is the solution authority," Yalçın added.
“END THE WAGE GRIEVANCES”
Yalçın, who also listed his demands regarding public employees, called for an end to the grievances.
"Salaries, especially the lowest civil servant salaries, should be increased by means of improvement and the wage imbalance between employees should be eliminated. Let the missing parts be completed in the additional indicator regulation, which is one of our most important achievements, and all officers who have been promoted to the first degree, especially the chief and technician, will have 3600 additional indicators. Let the Assistant Services Class be transferred to the General Administrative Services Class. The Promotion and Title Change Exams should be held regularly. We do not drop many topics from our agenda, we want many issues such as the ones we have mentioned to be resolved and dropped from the agenda," Yalçın stated.
