The lack of imams in remote villages all over the country affects the citizens negatively.
Citizens in the villages of Ardahan's Posof district are also having difficulties because there are no imams.
Since there are no imams in 20 villages in Posof, which has 49 villages, the mosque community goes to the district center every week to perform Friday prayers.
Posof, who experienced a great loss of population in the villages due to migration, also faced the risk of losing his mosques over the years.
The villagers, who wanted something to be done about the issue, requested support from the authorities in terms of keeping the mosques alive.

On the other hand, Posof, the summer Quran course opened in the center of Posof, also makes children happy.
Within the age group of six and 22, two classes of female students and one class of male students are learning the Qur'an by their teachers in the center of Posof.
19 students from the girls, 14 students in the other girls' class, and 35 students in a single class for boys attend the Qur'an course and learn how to read the Qur'an and Islamic knowledge.
The sad situation is that because there were no imams in 20 villages, summer Quran courses could not be opened in those villages.
The course in the district was started in Posof Primary School classes.
