A shooting incident in the U.S. city of Las Vegas left two people dead and around 70 others injured late Sunday, according to police early Monday.
The incident reportedly took place during a country music festival near Mandalay Bay hotel.
The Las Vegas Police Department (LVMPD) announced via Twitter that one suspect had been neutralized. The police also requested from citizens not to make livestreams that could possibly endanger the tactical positions of police officers at the scene.
"Confirming that one suspect is down. This is an active investigation. Again, please do not head down to the Strip at this time," the LVMPD said.
"Please do not livestream or share tactical positions of our officers on scene. This may put emergency responders in danger."
The entrances to the area were blocked.
Twelve of the 70 injured were said to be in severe conditions, according to US media reports.
